NATALIE
SHERER

Collaborative Pianist

& Vocal Coach

Recipient of the 2022 Brown Loranger Fellowship at Songfest, Natalie Sherer recently completed her DMA in Performance: Collaborative Piano with Mr. Martin Katz at the University of Michigan.  In August of 2022, she began her role as Assistant Professor of Vocal Coaching & Collaborative Artist at Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL.  Natalie has cultivated a thriving career of coaching, teaching, and recording, and she is a dynamic performer with instrumentalists and vocalists alike.

Hosted by pianist Natalie Sherer, The COLLABPIANO podcast is a digital stage for performing artists. We explore the ways composers set song texts to music, highlight specific details to listen for, and discuss the collaborative process and artistic choices that were made in the performances. It has been a joy to capture and share the eloquence and artistry of fellow musicians as we promote the performance of art song and celebrate the relationship between pianists & our collaborators!
